LaRae describes herself as a "Jesus girl"... born and raised in the South. Her heart beats for her five boys (husband Roy, included), her friends, and fitness. She and Roy homeschool their four young boys, and view each day as an adventure!
The Lord gave LaRae a passion to dance and perform, from the time she was old enough to walk, and she has received numerous awards in solo/group dance competitions. She also began choreographing dance performances, for herself and others, at a young age...all of which is vital in founding Devoted Fitness®. However, her utmost desire is for you to know her as a woman who loves the Lord with all her heart, and that His Spirit would shine in her. Through God's gift of dance, she is "sharing the concept of having fun, dancing, praising the Lord, and giving glory to Jesus"...with women all over the country, via the God-given vision of Devoted Fitness®. "We are unique in that DF focuses on the fellowship of women working out together, rejoicing in the Spirit of Christ, sharing in prayer and fellowship...really forming a tight-knit community of women who participate in the classes, creating lasting friendships." With a Master's Degree in Exercise Science, LaRae has led a variety of group fitness classes for more than 10 years, including Step aerobics, abdominal toning, sculpting/stretching, and Zumba fitness classes. The dream of Devoted Fitness® began to unfold in 2009, and God continues to reach countless lives with His vision, that He has planted firmly in the hearts of the Puckett family. Unprecidented, God-size, growth has marked their ministry, and LaRae "stands in awe at how the Lord is working to touch lives throughout the country, even the world, with Devoted Fitness®!"
